Written in Finnish, Sulautettujen järjestelmien ketterä käsikirja (Agile handbook for embedded systems development) describes the characteristics of agile development methods and gives concrete advice on how these methods can be adopted in embedded systems development.
Sulautettujen järjestelmien ketterä käsikirja is a pragmatic handbook based on the experiences gathered during the Tekes-funded AgiES project (Agile and Lean Product Development for Embedded ICT Systems). The handbook provides an introduction to agile working practices, targeting both developers and leaders in different types of organizations developing embedded systems. A collection of agile techniques and real-life experiences are shared in an easy-to-read form that aims to improve both the working practices and wellbeing at work.
In addition to the printed version, the handbook is also available as a mobile friendly web page and as a PDF:
The book was written collaboratively by the AgiES researchers from University of Turku and Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. Furthermore, these organizations helped in the publication process of the handbook:
- Invitation to the release seminars in Turku (October 28) and Espoo (November 6) (in Finnish)
- Press release (in Finnish)
- Combined slides from the seminars (mostly in Finnish, partly in English)
